Before and After Teenage Rhinoplasty

Immediate on the table after a rhinoplasty in a beautiful young woman that wanted a refined tip and reduced dorsal hump. She also had a deviated septum, and broken nose from very early childhood trauma.

Before And After Female Rhinoplasty

Happy to share one of my patient’s before/after selfies! She underwent a primary closed rhinoplasty, as well as septoplasty for breathing issues! She looks wonderful! Special thanks to her for sharing her journey with us!

Before and After Female Rhinoplasty

This wonderful patient of mine underwent a primary rhinoplasty for both breathing and cosmetic purposes. She is almost 1 year out and doing great! Special thanks to her for allowing us to share in her journey!

Primary Female Rhinoplasty

This wonderful woman underwent a reconstructive and aesthetic rhinoplasty with me. She had a prior septoplasty elsewhere that failed to correct her breathing problems, and also led to a deformity. The prior surgery resulted in an over aggressive removal of the “caudal” (lowest) part of the septum. As a result, her nose had a tip collapse that accentuated a dorsal hump. She needed a rib graft to correct the deformity. It’s not just about having a good looking nose, but one that works well too. Fixing the breathing issues also improved her nasal aesthetic.

Before and After Female Rhinoplasty

Very excited to show my beautiful patient’s photos! This young woman underwent a rhinoplasty for both functional and aesthetic purposes. Her nose was weakened by prior trauma, and you can see that in her before photos, her tip “dives” down. This is because of minimal support in the tip structures. She underwent a rhinoplasty with rib graft. Rib graft is sometimes used in primary rhinoplasty cases about 1-2% of the time, and is usually in complicated cases (as above), when extra structural materials are needed to rebuild a stronger, better looking, and better functioning nose! I speak with all my patients about the potential need for rib, even in primary cases. It’s important that your surgeon feels comfortable using rib should the need arise.

My favorite part of this case is that her nose appears natural, like the “nose she should have been born with “, as her own mother would say! It is elegant, natural, and in no way compromises her identity.
