Female Rhinoplasty Before and After

Very excited to share before and after on the table photo of a wonderful Park Avenue patient that underwent an open rhinoplasty. She didn’t like her dorsal hump and her wide bulbous tip. Additionally, she had breathing difficulties from a deviated septum and nasal fracture. So blessed to be trusted with the care of these patients.

Male Revision Rhinoplasty Before and After

Excited to share before and after photos after reconstructive plastic surgery. This wonderful Park Avenue patient had three prior rhinoplasties that left him scarred and unable to breathe properly. This is what is called a “tertiary” rhinoplasty, and is very challenging from a surgical perspective. Each surgery he underwent increased the amount of scar in the nose, and reduced the available blood flow and vascularity. Adding to the difficulties is that his prior rhinoplasty surgeries were “reductive”, meaning that the original surgeons had removed critical portions of the nose, leaving the nose weakened and non-functional over time, causing significant collapse. I was fortunate to be entrusted with his fourth (and hopefully final!) revision rhinoplasty using his own rib to reconstruct the critical portions of his nose. He is 9 weeks postoperative in this photo, with some residual swelling, but is breathing again for the first time in years, and looking great!

Female Rhinoplasty Before and After

Very excited to share before and after photos of one of my most delightful Park Avenue patients. This wonderful patient underwent an open rhinoplasty for both aesthetic and functional purposes. She is only 3 months in this series, and still has some swelling that will subside in the coming months. What I love most about this picture, is that her new nose fits her facial structure so well and naturally!

Female Rhinoplasty Before and After

After a long week, it was great to see one of my post-op patients in the office. This wonderful patient of mine had a rhinoplasty for both breathing and cosmetic issues. She had a reduction of her dorsal hump and refinement of her nasal tip, providing her with a more balanced nasal aesthetic.

Before and After Female Closed Rhinoplasty

Happy to share before and after photos of a closed rhinoplasty. This young patient sought slight changes to enhance the aesthetics of her face. She underwent a closed rhinoplasty (without external incisions). She now looks great and can breathe wonderfully!

Female Revision Rhinoplasty Before and After

Excited to share this before and after on the table photos after revision rhinoplasty. This wonderful Park Avenue patient had prior rhinoplasty with poor healing, and inability to breathe. You can see her immediate on the table results here.

Female Revision Rhinoplasty

Excited to share on the table photos after a revision rhinoplasty. This wonderful patient had prior rhinoplasty with poor healing, and inability to breathe. You can see her immediate on the table results here. Her own rib was used through a small 1.5 cm minimally invasive incision.

Female Rhinoplasty Before and After

Happy to share these before and after rhinoplasty photos of my wonderful and lovely park ave patient. She had breathing and aesthetic concerns that were addressed with a closed rhinoplasty. This type of surgery involves no visible scars or incisions. Its a small detail, but makes a big difference! I feel fortunate to be trusted with my patient’s faces and their physical well being.

Septal Perforation Repair Before and After

The above case demonstrates a 45-year-old woman that came to see Dr. Mourad who developed a hole in her septum secondary to cocaine use. The photo on the left is a photo into the left nostril that demonstrates the 1.2 cm perforation which is located in the front portion of the septum. Her symptoms included noisy breathing, frequent nasal crusting, and bleeding. She also suffered from frequent sinus infections. The picture on the right demonstrates an intraoperative view of the repaired perforation, immediately after the repair. This perforation was repaired using a left-sided local flap (link to local flap). The technique used was an Anterior Ethmoid Artery Pedicled Flap. This technique uses rearrangement of tissue within the nasal cavity to close the hole in the septum. She has mild swelling in the area that will resolve with time.
