Rhinoplasty & Male Rhinoplasty

Before and after photo of revision rhinoplasty with patient’s own rib. Patient had 2 prior surgeries that left him unable to breathe. His septum was collapsed in the front, replaced by scar, and deviated causing obstruction. He underwent an open structure septo-rhinoplasty for reconstruction. He now looks better and breathes better!

Rhinoplasty & Female Rhinoplasty

Very excited to share before and after rhinoplasty photos. This wonderful Park Avenue patient sought changes for aesthetic and functional reasons. 3 months ago she underwent a primary rhinoplasty. She underwent slight changes to the contour of her nose, tip rotation, and projection. Her nose was made straighter also allowing her to breathe better!

Rhinoplasty & Female Rhinoplasty

Before and after photo of rhinoplasty on the table photo. This young woman wanted a small change in rotation and dorsal height. She was an ideal candidate for a closed rhinoplasty approach.

Male Revision Rhinoplasty Before and After

Excited to share before and after photos after reconstructive plastic surgery. This wonderful Park Avenue patient had three prior rhinoplasties that left him scarred and unable to breathe properly. This is what is called a “tertiary” rhinoplasty, and is very challenging from a surgical perspective. Each surgery he underwent increased the amount of scar in the nose, and reduced the available blood flow and vascularity. Adding to the difficulties is that his prior rhinoplasty surgeries were “reductive”, meaning that the original surgeons had removed critical portions of the nose, leaving the nose weakened and non-functional over time, causing significant collapse. I was fortunate to be entrusted with his fourth (and hopefully final!) revision rhinoplasty using his own rib to reconstruct the critical portions of his nose. He is 9 weeks postoperative in this photo, with some residual swelling, but is breathing again for the first time in years, and looking great!

Male Brow Lift Before and After

Thrilled to show before/after photos of my Park Avenue patient. This is a wonderful patient that underwent an endoscopic browlift. This is a minimally invasive procedure that uses small incisions in the scalp to restore balance and symmetry to the face. This can be done for both cosmetic and reconstructive purposes. This patient was left with a paralyzed right eye brow after a previous surgery by another physician. The goal was to restore the balance and aesthetic of his eye brow position.

Female Rhinoplasty Before and After

After undergoing double jaw reconstructive surgery and dealing with a 2-year recovery-alongside its permanent consequences-I had noticed an overall change in my nose. Specifically, the base had widened and my tip had begun to severely droop when smiling. Due to my past, I was extremely hesitant to pursue surgery again but have ultimately decided to follow through with it due to my deviated septum.

Over the course of 3 months, I shopped around for a surgeon and had a dozen consultations. Dr. Mourad was the ONLY doctor who took the time to hear my concerns and walk me through the entire process; Whether I had one or 20 questions, he would always respond to my calls/text before and after the operation to ensure I’m both comfortable and excited. As implied, he was the last physician I spoke with.

I asked for a natural result and I got just that in return. The recovery was much easier than I expected and I was up and about only a week after surgery. I cannot stress enough how natural my nose looks and how beautiful my profile is – it’s the best when people ask you if you lost weight and tell you that you look radiant only 2 weeks post-op.

If anyone reading this is hesitant to find a doctor or is worried about their nose appearance post-op… don’t be. Dr. Mourad is genuinely a great physician and, most importantly, a person. He’s a professional who loves his job, and his genuine passion is exemplified in his approach from start to finish.

I am forever grateful to him for restoring both my confidence and breathing.

Unfortunately, I’m not given the option to upload my before and after pics here; His insta page (@nycfacedoc) showcases all of his artwork.

If you’re set on undergoing rhinoplasty, good luck, and congratulations!

Female Rhinoplasty Before and After

Very excited to share before and after on the table photo of a wonderful Park Avenue patient that underwent an open rhinoplasty. She didn’t like her dorsal hump and her wide bulbous tip. Additionally, she had breathing difficulties from a deviated septum and nasal fracture. So blessed to be trusted with the care of these patients.
