Before and After Female Primary Rhinoplasty

Immediate on the table result of open rhinoplasty. This patient was looking for an enhanced aesthetic including more refined bridge, and tip elevation.

Female Facelift Before and After

Excited to share before and after photos of a female facelift. This wonderful 63-year-old patient came in wanting a more youthful, rested, and refreshed look. She underwent a deep plane facelift and neck lift. This procedure reduces neck webbing, or “turkey gobbler” neck. It also reduces the deep lines (nasolabial grooves) around the mouth. She’s thrilled with her results, and feel blessed to be trusted with her care.

Female Blepharoplasty Before and After

This is a lovely patient of mine that underwent upper eyelid surgery with me 4 months ago. One of the most common complaints that I get is that patients often look “tired”. They also complain that it is difficult to apply makeup, and they have to “lift up” their skin to get the makeup just right. This can be related to excessive upper eyelid skin drooping downwards secondary to the effects of aging and gravity. Surgery involves removing portions of excess skin, in addition to fat and muscle (if necessary). Surgery is designed to “restore” the upper eyelid crease as seen in this patient. Excessive resection can lead to a hollowed appearance that may make patients actually look older than they are.

Repaired Septal Perforation Before and After

This case demonstrates a 57-year-old woman that presented to Dr. Mourad after septal perforation secondary to a nasal surgery with a different surgeon many years before. Her complaints were nasal crusting, frequent infections, and bleeding. She attempted to use humidifying measures including ointments, humidified air, and nasal saline, which did not resolve her symptoms. The perforation is larger. The photo on the left demonstrates the 1.5 cm perforation as seen through the left nostril. Her repair required the use of a regional flap, using a right-sided Pedicled Inferior Turbinate Flap. The photo on the right demonstrates the immediate repair of the perforation intraoperatively.
